Reflection:        Words from Pope Francis on Love in the Family

The family is the primary setting for socialization, since it is where we first learn to relate to others, to listen and share, to be patient and show respect, to help one another and live as one. (Amoris Laetitia, Par 276)

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all for your kind words and well wishes this past week as I celebrated my Silver Jubilee. A special Thank You to the Staff and Pupils of Ballybay National School for organising the mass last Thursday and for those of you who joined me to celebrate it. You could see the hard work the children and teachers put in to making the mass memorable and special. I think you will agree with me when I say the mass was remarkable and the choir were phenomenal. I was so overwhelmed by it and I really and truly appreciated it.

Fr. Michael
