IMPORTANT NOTICE: From January 1st 2018, due to the large volume of requests for weekend masses, the first weekend of each month will be a Shared Mass. This is in keeping with the common practice of other Parishes.

 DIOCESSAN NEEDS ENVELOPE: There will be a collection for the diocesan needs next Sunday 3rd September. Envelopes for this collection are in your envelope boxes.

SUNDAY MASSES: Please note, 8.30am Mass on Sundays will return on Sunday 1st October.

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes: This Monday, Bishop Kevin will lead over 500 pilgrims on the annual diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes.  We pray that all pilgrims have a blessed and fruitful pilgrimage.

PETITIONS: If anyone would like Fr. Michael to bring a petition to Lourdes for them, we ask you to drop it into the Parochial House this evening (Sunday 27th)

 Handel’s Messiah – Knock Shrine: Saturday 18th November at 7.30pm sees the return of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra to present Handel’s ‘iconic’ Messiah at Knock Basilica. Grandparents Association – Knock: Grandparents National Annual Pilgrimage September 10th 2017, Knock Shrine 2.30p.m. Everybody welcome to honour & thank  Grandparents alive & dead for all they have done for us down through the ages. Interested in becoming a Permanent Deacon in the Diocese of Elphin?: The Diocese of Elphin is now accepting applications from married and single men who may feel called to ministry as Permanent Deacons. The four year part-time training programme will begin in Autumn 2017. ALTER SERVERS: A huge thank you to all our Servers for your hard work and dedication since last September and thank you also to your parents for allowing your child/children to serve mass during the past year. I would like to wish all starting secondary school the very best of luck as they begin the next step in their journey.

 School RE-OPENING: Best wishes to the teachers and pupils who begin the new school year. We ask God’s blessing upon them as they return after the summer holidays. All children return to school on Thursday Aug 31st.
